The postmodern artist who made this photo is Roy Lichenstein. In this photo there is alot going on. It  looks like there is romance because of the couple kissing in the background . It look like he made a animal face on the humans body. In this painting I see recontexualizatin because I see the that the different colors and it looks like they turned many things around. Also I see Repersentin' in a way cause they are repersenting there interpertation of art, cause it says ART .

MY ART EXPERIENCE.

My art experience has been great. I have learned so much like the 7 elments of art and the 7 principles of design. I like some projects that we have did . Like the book and some blog post. I also didnt like some projects we did because they were boring. Like reading we had to do on art . I guess that benefited us to learn more about art. I like that Ms. Coffee takes her time to teach us each thing we know how and she wants us to have quality art. So far my art experience has been good and I hope to keep it that way.

This here is my book. I like this book because it shows how creative I can be in art using the elements and principles. Although this book took about two weeks of hard work and dedication I think it came out nice. I used the green because green is my favorite color. The rest I just came up with from the top of my head. This is something I can look back on when I get older and say these are the type of things I did when I was in highschool Freshman Year with Ms. Coffee.

I chose this picture because I think that the picture is very unique. It has a nice looking texture and you wouldn't expect to pick it . Its like me unexpected. I like how the heart kind of looks like a scorpion or some type of weird animal. I think the artist made this book to show creative expression. It doesn't really look hand made and that's the main reason I like it. It is polished and has nice value. This book stands out ,just like me !

I see a very beautiful picture! I also see three rectangles with a picture that flows to form to one picture. It has blue, maybe brown, and a mahogny red. It has good texture and value. It has a certain type of movement to it as well. I think the picture is just a beautiful picture that has some type of sound to it. I think t he artist drew it so it can hang in someones house, and its something you can stare at all day.

Blooms Taxonomy for ART!

In this pictuer there is a caucasian lady with long flowy hair witha gray background. She looks lustful and gloomy.

I chose this pictuer because I just got through reading a pictuer about race and gender. It told about women and how they are treated in art.  I picked this pictuer to repersent the women in art.

Well I found the pictuer on google and it said the picture was posted by RDL. I think the author decided to draw this pictuer because it may be something the author has seen before. A girl the author liked and wanted to recreate the image of her. I guess the artist name or iitials are RDL.

Two questions I have are, why did you make the girl with just her neck instead of the full body?
What's the explanation behind the pictuer?

Race & Gender Criticism

My thoughts on "Race and Gender Criticsm" was that it was wrong and unmindful of the men to treat women this way. To my understanding art is a "white" mans subject. In the text it stated that there were 3 caucasian women ONE black woman and NO colored men, but there were 71 people total. That does not add up to me. Men dont understand how much they need us. We cook, clean, make clothes, make quilts ect., but they have not realized that until recent years. This article made me think to myself and say "Im about to show these men what us women are really capable of". One day  there will be a women president and then a black women president. Men should understand that WOMEN are much needed in art. We make art that men dont even know is art. Women should get the props that they deserve and need.
What if art was women dominated? How would you men feel?
Why is this art world based on race and gender?

~MY VERY FIRST ART EXPERIENCE~

My very first art experience was when I was in pre-school. When I was in pre-school I did a project where we had to make a Mothers Day card for our moms. My card was pink and had a red heart in the middle of it. On the top it said Mom and the bottom it said I love you. Inside my teacher typed out Happy Mothers Day!, where I drew little stick people with smiley face :). I gave it to my mom and she said it was beautiful and it meant alot because I was a baby and was young and made her this homemade card. To this day mother still has that card. It reminds me of my preschool years and it reminds her of my innocent and sweet years.
