Blooms Taxonomy for ART!

In this pictuer there is a caucasian lady with long flowy hair witha gray background. She looks lustful and gloomy.

I chose this pictuer because I just got through reading a pictuer about race and gender. It told about women and how they are treated in art.  I picked this pictuer to repersent the women in art.

Well I found the pictuer on google and it said the picture was posted by RDL. I think the author decided to draw this pictuer because it may be something the author has seen before. A girl the author liked and wanted to recreate the image of her. I guess the artist name or iitials are RDL.

Two questions I have are, why did you make the girl with just her neck instead of the full body?
What's the explanation behind the pictuer?

Race & Gender Criticism

My thoughts on "Race and Gender Criticsm" was that it was wrong and unmindful of the men to treat women this way. To my understanding art is a "white" mans subject. In the text it stated that there were 3 caucasian women ONE black woman and NO colored men, but there were 71 people total. That does not add up to me. Men dont understand how much they need us. We cook, clean, make clothes, make quilts ect., but they have not realized that until recent years. This article made me think to myself and say "Im about to show these men what us women are really capable of". One day  there will be a women president and then a black women president. Men should understand that WOMEN are much needed in art. We make art that men dont even know is art. Women should get the props that they deserve and need.
What if art was women dominated? How would you men feel?
Why is this art world based on race and gender?

~MY VERY FIRST ART EXPERIENCE~

My very first art experience was when I was in pre-school. When I was in pre-school I did a project where we had to make a Mothers Day card for our moms. My card was pink and had a red heart in the middle of it. On the top it said Mom and the bottom it said I love you. Inside my teacher typed out Happy Mothers Day!, where I drew little stick people with smiley face :). I gave it to my mom and she said it was beautiful and it meant alot because I was a baby and was young and made her this homemade card. To this day mother still has that card. It reminds me of my preschool years and it reminds her of my innocent and sweet years.
