This is Jackson Pollack's artwork. It is groundbreaking because it's so unique and different ! It's his expression , his style and it shows his personality in the picture. You can tell that he is the type of person who thinks that it's his right to create or do whatever he wants whether people appreciate it or not. This artwork turned out to be very famous , and everyone seems to appreciate it .
Music is my LIFE , PointBlankPeriod! #Rythm

A website I ALWAYS go to is http://www.facebook.com/ . This website is always on my mind and it is enertaining at times. When I'm on facebook , I look at others picture , explore and write post about how I feel , our quote a song. Facebook, may keep up a lot of drama but I distance myself so therefore it doesnt bother me ! I think that facebook sometimes become a distraction to work , but it is also very addicting. It has become a part of my idenity at some sort, because I am able to express myself and it allows me to live through music , something I can't do six hours of the day.

I think this artist was using space ship , and future techniques for his/her map of mind, was illusion. Also they used alot of shape. Even though I may not be able to feel it it looks like a lot of texture incorporated in this piece. The abstract expressionism is very rare ! Never seen it before it's different and thats why I picked it. It stood out and the artist probably took alot of time to make this artwork look like it does.

An Illusion , Not meant to be some sort of Confusion
Artwork , just to be done . A form of a new type of creative has just begun
Glass shattering is what you may see, And hell if I know that's just what it may be \
This artist took digital to a whole nother'level, I'm wondering when, & how can I get on his level
I like this piece of craft, It catchs my attention
This artwork is gorgeously beautiful ,
Did I forget to mention ?

I would like to live in Atlanta Georgia because the city is so beautiful ! I also would have a connection with famnily that I really never was able to make deep connections with. In the right parts of Atlanta your children would be able to have a wonderful upbringing. It brings along many oppurtunities and space because now your in a town where many are discovered. Atlanta is the place to be and it defiently has me sold.

This a place that I would like to visit in particular because it reminds me of something like my future. I want to make it happen and be something famous. This place also looks beautiful. I can accomplish goals and have the best of the best. I can have my children have a wonderful upbringing, a place without struggle but they will still know the definition of hardwork in a place like this. Hollywood could be a new openining and beginning . As it helped others it can also help me.

#21 InkBlot

I like this InkBlot because it reminds me of a cartoon. It allows me to let my imagination run free. Also I can be a child again when I look at this picture because it look like the cartoon Chicken Little. This Ink Blot does not look like an ink blot it looks like a painted art work. It is very well done and although it looks easy it still looks like it takes hardwork and technique.

This is an InkBlot . It actually reminds me of a Ballerina, my minds dont go many places but it is a nice picture and looks like a frog in the background.

This a picture of the Dada movement. One of the artist was the first to use collage that we know of. This shows the creativness and divirsity of their thoughts. These type of people thought outside of the box. This is an interesting picture because throught all of the different picture it actually blend alltogether to make it look like one. s

The project we previoulsy did in class was self-portrait. It was fun getting to see a different way of drawing and my ability to actually create something that looked nice. It was nice getting to draw someone else, because if I drew myself I would have contradicted the portrait. It was nice getting to learn how to make a picture drawing lines and making a grid. I can now maybe make  a portrait for my mom or something because it might mean something  to her.

I like this picture because it looks abstract but actually repersents something as a face. The face could be a picture of a dog outside enjoying the enviorment. This is a nice picture. I have seen this done but this particular picture just catches my eye. This shows various forms of art. It has colors, lines ,and texture.

This picture is by an artist by the name of Pam Hogg. I chose this  picture because it is very different and unique. It shows various amounts of art elements. One's such as color, a view of texture, and value. This a picutre of a women maybe channeling the 1950's Tv program. The colors may repersent the different segements of her life , different moods, and how she feels.

This Schedule is interesting to me because it is not the the typical 10:00 to 10:30 schedule. It say's 1:00 am I am still awake and 1:01 am you're still in my head. This reminds me of how I feel sometimes relating to a boy. It show how teenagers feel when they are up at night and parents are sleeping. This gives people a creative view of something new.

I bet people are wondering why I have a purple rectangle on my page as nostalgic. Actually this rectangle repersents my purple pillow I had since I was about one. I took this pillow with me everywhere and when I was nine my mom took it away from me . I was so sad because that pillow felt so comfortable . I had it for so long and I just miss my pillow.

Marlene Dumas should be considered as a postmodern artist because her artwork has many of those strategeies that I have learned. She uses layering ,juxasposition , and re-contexutalization. In one picture as  it is seen on my blog there is a women with no clothes on and she has censor bars over her body parts and yu cant see her face. Its in black and white . To me that shows re-contextualization, because the picture is in a whole nother text. She also is a good artist and should be given more credit.

The artist I chose was a women named  Marlene Dumas. She was born on August 3,1953 who was born South Africa. Right now she works in Amsterdamn, The Netherlands. I chose her because while looking on the website http://www.moca.org/ I found some very interesting paintings that she worked on. I find them different and a part of the subject content we are learning. Like one picture is layering and has appropriation. I find her special because she is women and I have read how hard it is for women in the art industry . So for her to have art work and be none its is cool.

Post # 10 :Stereotypes and Cliches

This is a picture of a women with a bra and some sexy underwear on. I chose this picture because I am a young lady  and I want expand on these kind of stereotypes. Some men put women into catergories such as sexy , hot , fat ,ugly dumb blonde, ghetto hoodrat. We are just toys to some and really that is not the case. While some women may use sex appeal to get by others may think all women are the same. For example, you cant get anywhere if you arent skinny ,have little chest, or just a little backside. You wont get most jobs as a women. As women we have to take that extra step that many dont see us take . In this picture there is a women who is pretty ,but men won't see past that and that's hard to break.
